Your role

As Unit Lead/Director of "Solution Services", you are the architect of our digital future. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of several interdisciplinary teams and projects. Your focus is on the successful implementation of groundbreaking digitalization projects in data and experience management (PIM, DAM, MDM, DXP, CDP, CMS). With your expertise in Pimcore and project management, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and to the complete satisfaction of our customers. Working closely with other Unit Leads, you will develop holistic strategies and lead your teams to new heights. You measure success and promote the continuous development of your teams - be the driving force behind our digital transformation!

Focus areas: At least two of the three focus areas (consulting, leadership, technical background) must be covered.

Tasks:

Customer consulting: You build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and goals precisely. With your in-depth knowledge in digitization strategies and solutions, specifically in the area of data and experience management (PIM, DAM, MDM, DXP, CDP, CMS), you will advise our clients and ensure that high-quality solutions are delivered that exceed their expectations and increase customer satisfaction. Regular reviews and updates with clients will help you track project progress and resolve any issues quickly.

Team leadership: You will lead 2-3 interdisciplinary teams and ensure their motivation, coordination and goal orientation. By fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment, you enable continuous learning and improvement. You will set clear performance expectations, conduct regular appraisals and provide constructive feedback. You will also support the professional growth and development of team members through mentoring, training and career development opportunities.

Technical know-how: You use your extensive technical expertise (ideally knowledge of Pimcore), project management and customer communication to support the teams in the successful implementation of digitization projects. By following current trends and technologies in data and experience management, you ensure that the teams are equipped with state-of-the-art solutions. You will lead the technical planning, implementation and optimization of projects to ensure the highest quality standards. You will master complex technical challenges with confidence and provide solutions that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of projects.

Professional experience: At least 8 years of experience in project management and leading interdisciplinary teams, preferably in a digital agency or in the IT sector.

Expertise: Deep understanding of data management and experience management; strong knowledge of using Pimcore, PHP, Symfony and other relevant technologies.

Leadership skills: Proven experience in strategically leading and developing teams; ability to create a positive and productive work environment.

Technical know-how: Comprehensive technical knowledge (desirable in all aspects of Pimcore), ability to develop and evaluate solutions.

Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar.

Customer Focus: Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategies in collaboration with other leaders.

Performance Measurement: experience in analyzing and optimizing KPIs to measure success and continuous improvement.

Language skills: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
